The Samsung Galaxy A71 price is £419 (around $550, AU$800). That mid-range price is making it really competitive in the market for the premium features it’s offering. Samsung expecting record-breaking sales through this phone. We will have wait till the end of this month to understand reality.

Since Sony is also going to release 5G supported phones very soon. Also, the latest feature of bending display is coming for folding smartphones. That could be the next trend for this market. There will be a strong fight between all the classic mid-rangers this year 2020.

Before they took it down, we could take a peek. Samsung’s Unpacked event will take place in San Francisco on this mid-February. According to the post, Samsung Korea will introduce the Galaxy Home Mini for the Korean market the very next day. Samsung could fix the price around KRW 99,000 (~$83)

Samsung wants to make the Galaxy Home Mini a bit different with IR remote control capabilities. It can be a bit complicated to adjust volume or switch tracks using only voice commands. And some customers might prefer a more classic way to control their entertainment. So, Samsung believes this IR control would offer an option to them.

We all know, Samsung announced but delayed the Galaxy Home at least a couple of times. Most provably to further refine the Bixby, its in-house voice assistant. Samsung wants to be very careful with this new product type. They don’t want to rush and make this a mess.

The announcement from Samsung Korea mentioned for Korea only. We wonder when Samsung decides to release the Galaxy Home Mini for the Global market. We hope to hear some acknowledgment about the release date of Galaxy Home Mini at the Unpacked event next week.

Though many think that, Samsung is entering the smart speaker game too late. As both Google and Amazon have entered the market long ago. They also have a strong presence in the market of smart speakers already. So, the big question – is there enough room for this new platform of smart speaker to enter the market.

Benefits of Satellite Phone

Functions of the Satellite phones are pretty similar to cell phones (e.g. iPhone 6S or Galaxy A51 or latest Galaxy A71). However, whereas regular cell phone uses network towers. These towers are based on land to relay conversations. On the other hand satellite phone utilizes satellites to relay conversations. But that concern of disruption doesn’t exist for satellite phones. Hence, rescue forces and other emergency forces usually carry satellite phones so that they can call for back up.

Single Phone Number

People who need to travel frequently to abroad, often needs to use different sim every time. They usually collect new sim in each country. Thus, they have to update the new numbers to others. Otherwise they stay unavailable to the people at home. However, satellite phones removes that problem. And makes it simple by letting keep the same number.

Though the satellite phone is still a bit more expensive but it is getting popular day by day because of it’s reliability and usefulness.

It is really important for the mid-range phones to be competent at what they do best but at the same time need to give that win-win feel to the consumers for that money they spend. Samsung Galaxy A51 will not frustrate the waiting consumers who loved A50 and willing to explore the latest series A51.

It brought back the notched selfie camera into the display. It is a bit larger than before. On the backside of the phone, there is a much better camera arrangement. Samsung added an attractive prism-inspired design to give you the best photographic experience.

The Galaxy A51 is slightly heavier than its predecessor Samsung Galaxy A50 but you will feel lighter when you place that in your hand. This will be obviously among the lightest 6.5-inches available in the market.

It will be available in the market in a variety of colors. It will include Black, White, Blue, Prism and a sweet pastel pink.

Some features haven’t changed from A50. The battery will be a 4,000mAh unit with 18W of fast charging the same as the A50. Which is not among the fastest charging speeds, even if considered within Samsung’s collection.

If compared side by side with the still popular Galaxy A50, the Samsung Galaxy A51 can give two special improvements. One is the new slick design and the other is the new cameras with much better specs. The latest main camera is a 48MP (with f/2.0) unit in place of the old 25MP (with f/1.7), 12MP (with f/2.2) ultra-wide module will replace the 8MP f/2.2 one, and a 5MP dedicated macro camera. On the front there will be an updated 32MP f/2.2 selfie snapper, upgrading from 25MP f/2.0 unit.

The chipset on this phone is also slightly improved. The chipset Exynos 9611 does match the 9610 with almost all spec for spec. But it will have the support for higher-megapixel updated cameras (64MP).

The latest Galaxy A51 will also be on the Android 10 with One UI 2.0. Though the Galaxy A50 is in line to receive via an update, but still not updated.

Luckily for the consumers, the price will remain as competitive as that of the Old Galaxy A50’s. Though Samsung released the A50 in March of the last year 2019. Customers will be able to get the 128GB Galaxy A51 with 4GB of RAM for under $400.

Last note series smartphone Galaxy Note 10 had AMOLED Display. This newly published model Galaxy Note 10 lite will keep the Infinity AMOLED panel too. But the ultrasonic version fingerprint sensor will not be there. Instead, there will be just the regular optical fingerprint sensor.

The majority of the specification will be similar as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The triple camera setup will be 12 MP with f/1.7 lens + 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens + 12 MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and f/2.4 aperture. One difference from Galaxy Note 10 is the selfie front camera is 32 MP with a f/2.0 lens.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be in size of 163.7 x 76.1 x 8.7 mm. This will weigh 198 grams. It will include Android 10 with One UI 2 out of the box and Bluetooth 5.0. It will also include the S pen as the other note devices. The price will be approximately $675. Though the competition will pretty high as Huawei is also releasing its flagship P40 and P40 Pro in March.

Built Quality

Built quality is premium as the mi band 3 as expected. But the band quality is slightly improved in mi band 4. But overall everything is very similar from the outside. You can even use your mi band 3 straps for the mi band 4.

Display

Mi band 3 had 0.78 inch OLED display. But Mi band 4 comes with a much better 0.95 inch AMOLED display. Considering the display quality Mi band 4 will give you much better experience. Display are is increased but the watch size is almost the same. Mi band 4 have better visibility in the day light and it has the full color display. Where Mi band 3 had black & white display.

Watch Faces

Mi band 3 had only 3 fixed watch faces. But in the Mi band 4 you can use variable watch faces. You can even download many beautiful watch faces from internet.

Features

There are quite a few new features in the mi band 4. You can now control music remotely in your mobile phone from the mi band 4. Sensors are much more improved in the mi band 4. So all the fitness data you will receive is more accurate in mi band 4.

Battery & Connectivity:

Though the battery capacity is increased in Mi Band 4 but the lifetime will be quite similar. Mi band 4 have a 135 mAh battery where Mi band 3 had a 110 mAh battery.

Mi Band 3 used Bluetooth version 4.2 where Mi band 4 used Bluetooth version 5.0 which is much faster and the Bluetooth range is also more.

Price

If you think about the price, Mi band 4 is slightly higher in price than the mi band 3. Global version mi band 3 price is around $25-$28. Where global version mi band 4 prices are around $35-$38. Chinese version bands will cost you a little less, around $5-$8. Considering the price mi band 3 users will be tempted to update, but let’s check if the updates worth the price.

Considering everything, if you are looking for a moderate price smart band you should think of updating to Xiaomi Mi Band 4 as the user experience will be much improved. But if you want a fully functioned smart gadget with better budget, you might think of other smart watches like Amaze fit GTS or Verge Lite, Galaxy watch or Huawei Watch GT etc.
