Huawei announced its next flagship phone Huawei P40 and P40 Pro release date. They will be releasing them in next march 2020. Huawei has confirmed that they will announce Huawei P40 & P40 Pro in Paris at the end of March. Though They will release these initially in China within a couple of months. And then they will also release throughout the EU and Asia within a couple of months.
This comes as no surprise since they also unveiled the P30 and P30 Pro in Paris in March 2019. And the P20 and P20 Pro launch event took place in March 2018. We had anticipated they will launch these at MWC 2020. But unfortunately, MWC 2020 is canceled on 12th February due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Though the design and the specifications are still unknown. But the top officials confirmed it will be truly flagship with superior Camera and the latest Kirin chipset. Performance is never in doubt for these flagship models of Huawei. But users might find less of google among the built-in apps for Huawei P40 and P40 pro. Though Huawei reconfirmed their strong commitment to continuously use the Android.
But we don’t know what you really want to know. The exact specs are still unknown. And many rumors are out about the Huawei P40 Pro camera specs. The device might have a five-camera array consisting of a 64MP main snapper, 12MP zoom camera (which is supposed to facilitate up to 10x optical zoom, which would be the best in a smartphone), and ultra-wide, depth sensing and macro cameras of unspecified resolution.
But other sources confirm because of the ongoing Huawei ban, new smartphones from the company can’t use any Google apps (including the Play Store). Which might greatly restrict their capabilities and value versus other smartphones. That includes the Huawei P40.
The Huawei P40 price is a more interesting conversation. At launch, the Huawei P30 cost £699 / AU$1,099 (roughly $910). But the P30 Pro started at £899 (AU$1,599, around $1,140), which were both higher than the prices of previous year’s entries.
Harmony is yet to come with this model of Smartphones. Huawei Still continuing its effort to lure the app developers to develop more apps for Harmony platforms to enrich the backup. So far Huawei used Harmony OS less in smartphones but more in Smart devices (Smart TV, Smart Watch, other smart gadgets, etc)
With the Samsung Galaxy S11 likely released just before the Huawei P40, and the iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy Note 11, Motorola One Hyper, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and more coming later in 2020. This phone is going to need to impress us a lot as it will face a huge competition between so many flagship releasing at a similar time.
